Pinchas Huberman is an Assistant Professor at NIU Law. He teaches courses in tort law and First Amendment. Before joining NIU, Huberman was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Berkeley Center for Private Law Theory, a Resident Fellow at the Yale Information Society Project, and a Doctoral Fellow with the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. His current research is in First Amendment, free speech theory, torts and private law theory. Huberman’s previous work, exploring theories of tort liability for harms caused by emergent technologies, has appeared in the Canadian Journal of Law & Jurisprudence and Osgoode Hall Law Journal. Huberman earned his J.S.D. from Yale Law School and his J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.
