Professor Arado joined the law library faculty in 2000. She oversees the day-to-day management of the law library, handles the budget and collection, and provides legal reference assistance to faculty, students and other library users. Additionally, she teaches a required first-year legal research course as well as two upper level advanced research courses.  She supports law faculty and students in their use of instructional technology and works to increase digital access to library resources for students and faculty. She has worked as a reference librarian in both law school and law firm settings. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries, the Chicago Association of Law Libraries, and the American Association of Law Schools. She has held leadership positions in MAALL and CALL, and serves on several committees in AALL, MAALL, CALL, and AALS.  She has presented and prepared materials for the American Association of Law Libraries and Mid-America Association of Law Libraries Annual Meetings. Prof. Arado also participates on many committees at the College of Law and the university at large.  She is admitted (inactive) to the Illinois Bar.
