For more than a century, NIU has delivered a “brand experience” that is second to none – yet we are not utilizing a common language to describe that experience. Breaking through the clutter with a clear, distinctive message focused around the theme of Student Career Success, an applied variant to the university’s tagline, “Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow” is the goal of NIU’s efforts to integrate its communications and marketing at every level of the university.
Strategic use of consistent, branded communication will be a key component of NIU’s future success in enrollment, fundraising and reputation management.
