David C. Shapiro Memorial Law Library
During reading days and finals (December 1-19), the Law Library will be accessible only to current law students for quiet study. A OneCard will be required for access; if you have any problems with your OneCard, please contact Prof. Timko.
The Law Library will be closed during winter break beginning December 20th and will reopen on Monday, January 5th. OneCard access will not be available during this time.
The law library is available for law student quiet study space and for those needing to conduct legal research.
If you are not feeling well or are sick, please do not enter the law library. See the virtual services below for assistance.
Hours
For fall 2025 (August 18 – December 18), the Law Library will be open to the public:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Study Rooms
Reserve a study room online for individual or group study. Three group study rooms are available for College of Law students.
Rooms may be reserved for up to two hours at a time, with a four-hour daily limit during peak usage.
Meditation, Prayer and Lactation Room (North Wing)
Room 259A is available for individual use for thirty minutes at a time. Reserve the Meditation, Prayer and Lactation Room online.
