Types of Financial Aid
Though NIU College of Law's tuition is low by law school standards, many law school students apply for some loans to supplement their educational expenses.
The NIU College of Law Office of Admissions & Financial Aid, in coordination with the NIU Student Financial Aid Office, offers assistance to all law students with processing applications for state and federal loans, for work-study programs, for scholarship grants, and for other forms of financial aid. Applicants are encouraged to investigate all sources well in advance of the start of classes.
There are many resources and strategies that will aid you as you develop a financial aid plan.
