John F. McAdams was appointed Associate Judge for the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit on February 15, 2011, and subsequently appointed Associate Judge for the Twenty-Third Judicial Circuit. The Sixteenth Judicial Circuit included Kane, Kendall and DeKalb counties. In December 2012, Kendall and DeKalb counties formed the Twenty-Third Judicial Circuit. McAdams was a partner at McAdams & McAdams from 2000 through 2011. He had a general practice with a concentration in Criminal and Family Law. McAdams was also a part-time Kendall County Public Defender from 2000-2006. After assignments in Kane and DeKalb counties, he is currently assigned to Kendall County hearing family matters.
