Our interdisciplinary minor in LGBT Studies examines historical and contemporary issues related to identity, power, citizenship, and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. Complex problems surrounding gender and sexuality are explored in depth, in a variety of contexts.

Our interdisciplinary undergraduate certificate in LGBT Studies is designed for students interested in examining issues of gender and sexual orientation in order to function as informed citizens and successful professionals in the 21st century.

Undergraduate Certificate Requirements 

*To pursue the certificate, students must be admitted to the university but need not be enrolled in a degree program. All requirements for the certificate must be completed within a period of six consecutive years.
