Managing When Ethics, Leadership and the Law Collide

HR’s Role in Developing and Guiding an Ethical Culture in Your Organization  

How do ethics impact you and your organization? 

This program will take a personal approach to the topic of ethics in the global marketplace and explore how individual ethics impact the workplace from both a business culture and impact on the organization's bottom line.  Special emphasis will be placed on the role of the HR professional in developing and guiding the ethics of the business and establishing a culture that promotes ethical behaviors. 

Specific topics to be covered include:

  • Personal ethics - What do you stand for? 
  • Professional ethics - What does the business stand for? 
  • What happens when personal and professional ethics collide?
  • What happens when ethics and the law collide?
  • The role of HR in sustaining an ethical organization
  • Cultural ethics
  • Ethical universalism and cultural relativism
  • Building and ethical organization (Policy, Training, Reporting).  This will be a very engaging and interactive workshop.
