The FMP is a knowledge-based credential, which means you need to pass an online exam for each course in order to earn the FMP. There are no prerequisite experience and education requirements for enrolling in the program, however some working knowledge of the industry is recommended. To earn the FMP Credential you must complete four required courses and a corresponding 50-question online exam. Once you've passed all four exams with a score of at least 75%, you can submit your FMP application to IFMA. Visit www.ifma.org/fmp for more information.
With the help of our expert instructors and the comprehensive print materials, you will explore the topics deemed critical by employers and practitioners worldwide. Take any of the courses as a refresher or to gain knowledge in that competency area. It is not required to be a CFM or FMP candidate to participate in the courses.
The online FMP package program is designed for independent study and consists of four courses designed to ensure that the facility management professional demonstrates a proven comprehension of the foundations of facility management. Courses are aligned with the most recent IFMA global job task analysis, ensuring that courses teach to and test the knowledge demanded by today's global employers. Each course is designed to be completed within a dedicated 3 week window. Courses include: Operations and Maintenance, Project Management, Leadership and Strategy, and Finance and Business.
