The Alternative Dispute Resolution Society seeks to make students at the College of Law aware of the various methods available for disputing parties other than traditional courtroom litigation such as arbitration, mediation, negotiation and settlement. In the Spring semester, the ADR Society sponsors the Advocacy in Mediation Competition, which is open to second and third year students. Winning students will advance to the ABA regional competition. We bring in speakers who focus on the practical implications of dispute resolution and its role in the legal field.
