A Chicago Preview Screening of Rich Lenkov ('95) and Scott Prestin's ('95) New Documentary on the 1985 Chicago Bears Airs September 7 on WTTW-TV

85: The Greatest Team In Pro Football History, a new feature-length documentary on the 1985 Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears produced by NIU College of Law alumni Rich Lenkov ('95) and Scott Prestin ('95), will have its Chicago preview screening at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7th on WTTW-TV (PBS).

The film's production team has assembled a unique cast of players, coaches, superfans, prominent Chicagoans and members of the press, including former Bears linebacker Otis Wilson, one of the film’s co-producers.

'85 features Bears legends Mike Ditka, Mike Singletary, Jim McMahon, Dan Hampton and Steve McMichael, as well as exclusive interviews with a who’s who of Bears fans, including President Barack Obama, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Bill Murray, Jeremy Piven, George Wendt, Joe Mantegna and Michael Wilbon.

The production team includes producer and director Prestin, an attorney with more than fifteen years of production experience. Prestin has successfully managed numerous documental, commercial and narrative projects. His most recent work, the official documentary of the best-selling book "John Wayne Gacy: Defending a Monster", is slated to release in late 2016. Prestin is a Chicago native and a former solo practitioner in Chicago.

Producer Rich Lenkov is also associate producer of The Perfect Storm: The 1994 Montreal Expos and is involved in theatrical productions including Rock of Ages and The Rascals: Once Upon a Dream. Lenkov is a member of the law firm of Bryce Downey & Lenkov.

Executive producer Otis Wilson is a legendary linebacker and key member of the dominant 46 defense from the Super Bowl XX-winning Bears. Otis was a soloist on the “Super Bowl Shuffle,” still the most memorable hit single ever performed by a professional sports team. Otis currently runs the Otis Wilson Charitable Association.

The 1985 Chicago Bears were one of the most colorful and talented teams of all time. They had the top-ranked defense in the NFL and shut out both of their playoff opponents on their way to the championship game. In their Super Bowl XX victory in New Orleans, they set Super Bowl records for both total points scored and margin of victory. They remain indelibly stamped on the hearts of all Chicagoans and firmly entrenched as one of the most successful teams in sports history.
