Biography

Mr. Cain served as an assistant state’s attorney in Winnebago County, Illinois from 1976 to 1978.  He has been in the private practice of law since 1978 with the law firm of Sreenan & Cain, P.C., Rockford, IL, primarily as a criminal defense attorney.  He has tried more than 125 jury trials in state and federal courts.

Mr. Cain is serving as an adjunct professor at the College of Law teaching Trial Advocacy and Criminal Pretrial Skills.

Mr. Cain received his Bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1972 and his Juris Doctor from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1975.  He has been licensed to practice in Illinois since 1975 and Florida since 1991.
