ABA Hosts First Annual "ABA Day" at the
NIU College of Law
The American Bar Association hosted its first annual “ABA Day” at the College of Law on April 8, 2009. A number of ABA members volunteered for this day-long, career-related program to benefit law students. Events included one-on-one resume review sessions and an afternoon panel discussion titled, “Make the Right Impression in a Recession: Tips for Building a Strong Career Path.” The day concluded with a networking reception attended by students, alumni, ABA and ISBA officials. Students that participated in the program received free ABA memberships, which were generously donated by ABA Illinois State Delegate and Personal Injury Attorney Robert Clifford.
