llinois Supreme Court Justice Kilbride to Administer Oath to NIU College of Law Class of 2008

DeKalb--Illinois Supreme Court Justice Thomas L. Kilbride will administer an oath of professionalism to first year law students at the NIU College of Law during their orientation week. The address and oath will be given on Thursday, August 18, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. in the Francis X. Riley Courtroom at the College of Law in DeKalb. Following Justice Kilbride’s address and oath, students will participate in small workshops on professionalism and ethics facilitated by Illinois Appellate Court Justice Patrick J. Quinn and several local attorneys.


This will be the sixth year NIU Law School has provided in depth discussion of professionalism issues as part of its first year orientation. NIU Law was one of the first law schools to incorporate professionalism training in this manner.
