DeKalb County State’s Attorney Debate to be Held at the NIU College of Law

DeKalb – A debate between the DeKalb County state’s attorney candidates, Ron Matekaitis and Clay Campbell will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2004 from 2:30-3:30 pm in the Francis X. Riley Courtroom at the Northern Illinois University College of Law.  Matekaitis, Class of 1985 and Campbell, Class of 1991 are NIU Law alumni.  The debate is being sponsored by the NIU Law Student Bar Association and will be moderated by Greg Anderson, director of Career Opportunities and Development for the law school.  This debate will also serve as one of the last opportunities for a joint appearance between the candidates prior to the election.  A reception will follow in the Thurgood Marshall Gallery.
