Jennifer Lagattuta
About Jennifer: I am from the Chicago suburbs, and I took two years off and worked in the city after college. I live in Chicago and commute to NIU.
Previous Legal and/or Professional Experience: For two years after college, I worked in marketing and client relations at a tax consulting firm. During summers throughout college, I worked at a couple of law firms; one was a criminal defense and family law firm, and the other dealt with personal injury.
What activities are you involved in? I am currently an Associate Board Member of Dream for Kids. It is a charitable organization that helps underprivileged children and children with disabilities. My absolute favorite hobby is dancing! I also love to travel, cook, read, and spend time with family and friends.
Why did you choose NIU Law? I chose NIU Law because I knew that I would get a great legal education without the burden of owing $100,000 after graduation. I also love that the professors want you to succeed right away.
