Britt Anderson
About Britt: I’m from Rochelle, Illinois. I’m very close with my family and love spending time with my friends.
Previous Legal and/or Professional Experience: I currently work as a law clerk at the Collins Law Firm in Naperville, Illinois. The firm specializes in personal injury law, environmental law, and business litigation. Last year, I was a speech coach at Rochelle High School. Before entering law school, I was a summer intern in Washington D.C. for the United States Congress.
What activities are you involved in on campus? I am currently the social chair of Women’s Law Caucus, and I plan on being involved with Moot Court. I love running, cooking, and laughing.
What do you like the most about being at NIU Law? I like the emphasis NIU Law places on helping students succeed and on creating a sense of community. NIU Law’s professional mentor program has been a particularly great experience for me and has opened the door to many opportunities.
