Adam Furman
About Adam: I am an ambitious person. I am an author seeking publication. I have an insatiable hunger for history, especially local history. After practicing law for a while, I want to become a small business owner.
Previous Legal and/or Professional Experience: I was a community leader for the NIU undergraduate honors program, where I facilitated faculty-student relations and enriched academic opportunities. I have also been a peer advisor for the honors program during the summer, helping freshmen form their schedules during orientation.
What activities are you involved in? I was involved in the Alpha Phi Omega Coed Service Fraternity for my entire undergraduate career. I served as both Treasurer and Fellowship Vice President. During my time there, I performed well over 100 hours of community service for various local and national causes.
Why did you choose NIU Law? NIU Law's location between Rockford and Chicago is great, because it provides various types of atmospheres and opportunities for legal study, training, and application. The price of the school compared to other schools in the state cannot be ignored either.
