801 Judicial Externship Program (3)

Students spend 12 to 15 hours per week clerking for a state or federal judge. Clerkship duties include legal research and writing of memoranda and orders in cases coming before the supervising judge. In addition, students have the opportunity to observe various judicial proceedings.

This is an elective course. Most, though not all, electives are offered each year. Students may expect to have at least one opportunity to subscribe to all electives at some time in their three years in the college.
