694 International Business Transactions (3)

An examination of the numerous problems of United States federal and state law, public international law (such as treaties, including GATT and the Rome Treaty upon which the European Economic Community is based), and the domestic laws of foreign nations when multinational commercial enterprises do business involving more than one country. Treaties, statutes, and decided cases are among the materials to be examined, including some of the many cases decided by the Court of Justice of the European Communities.

This is an elective course. Most, though not all, electives are offered each year. Students may expect to have at least one opportunity to subscribe to all electives at some time in their three years in the college.
