636 Insurance Law (2)

The nature of risk and its insurability, the insurance contract, and government regulation of the activities of insurers. The different types of risks insured against; insurance as a financial planning device; and claims and rights and interests of policyholders and others.

This is an elective course. Most, though not all, electives are offered each year. Students may expect to have at least one opportunity to subscribe to all electives at some time in their three years in the college.
