Topics covered include: teacher and student free speech, establishment clause and free exercise rights of teachers and students, desegregation, due process and equal protection rights of students, teachers and staff members, and search and seizure in the public schools. Federal legislation impacting schools, such as Title IX and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, will also be covered.
