639 Business Bankruptcy (3)

This course examines the United States Bankruptcy Code and the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. Areas of emphasis include the financing, operating and administering of debtors’ estates, treatment of executory contracts and leases, formulation and confirmation of plans of reorganization, and the avoiding powers of the trustee in bankruptcy. Little attention will be paid to consumer bankruptcies.
