For the student without prior accounting experience, an introduction to the terms and concepts necessary for an understanding of the financial affairs of a client. Analysis of financial statements, management, and budgeting; understanding of accounting and financial terms; and record keeping and its tax consequences.
This is an elective course. Most, though not all, electives are offered each year. Students may expect to have at least one opportunity to subscribe to all electives at some time in their three years in the college.
