Biography

Riley N. Oncken is a shareholder in the law firm of Smith, Wykes & Oncken, P.C, located in Sycamore, Illinois. He is licensed to practice in Illinois State and Federal courts. His practice areas include: civil litigation, criminal law, family law, personal injury law, real estate transactions and litigation, collections, corporate and business law, landlord/tenant law, and estate planning. Prior to becoming a shareholder, Oncken had worked for Smith, Wykes & Associates, P.C. and its predecessors in Sycamore since 2004. Oncken was elected to the DeKalb County Board in 2008, where he presently serves on the Economic Development, Law & Justice, Rules, and Jail Planning Committees. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Sycamore Rotary Club and the DeKalb County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Riley attends Christ Community Church and is a volunteer on the creative arts ministry team. He has lived in Sycamore since 2003.
