Neal Smith is an associate attorney at the law firm of Robbins, Schwartz, Nicholas, Lifton & Taylor, Ltd. He provides legal advice to municipalities, townships, school districts, community colleges and local governmental boards and commissions on issues concerning board governance and parliamentary procedure, finance and tax matters, zoning and land use law, property acquisition and sales, building code enforcement and election law. He represents local governmental clients in state and federal court and before administrative boards and commissions. Prior to joining Robbins, Schwartz, Neal practiced municipal law at a Wheaton law firm.
Neal graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2004. He obtained his BA in Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College in 2000.
