Patrick M. Kinnally is a native and resident of Kane County, Illinois. Prior to entering private practice, he was employed as an inspector, examiner, and teacher for the Immigration & Naturalization Service in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation from law school, he was appointed law clerk to Justice James D. Heiple of the Illinois Appellate Court. Mr. Kinnally has taught continuously at NIU College of Law as an adjunct Professor in various disciplines for over 15 years. He practices law in Aurora, Illinois. Areas of expertise are General and Commercial Litigation, Immigration and Citizenship and Administrative, Environmental and Local Government Law. He is President of the Continuing Legal Education Commission of the Illinois Supreme Court. Recently, he was appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court’s Committee on Illinois Civil Jury Instructions.
