Free Professional Portraits for Graduate Students

MLK Commons
NIU Photography is offering FREE professional headshots for graduate students. Wear your best, take a few moments to capture the perfect image, and get access to a digital file that you can use for your professional website, LinkedIn profile, and more. Photographer will be available outdoors in the MLK Commons area outside the Holmes Student Center; Founders Library first floor lobby area will be used if needed due to weather.
Virtual Trivia Night

Books and Bagels: Graduate Student Meet-and-Greet with Subject Specialist Librarians

Prioritizing Your Well-Being: An Interactive Workshop for International Students

Dr. Gudrun Nyunt, Assistant Professor and ACUE Distinguished Teaching Scholar from the Department of Counseling and Higher Education, will lead international students through a workshop that explores the idea of wellness along six dimensions. Coffee, Connections, and Crosswords

Come enjoy a cup of coffee and connect with fellow graduate students at the HASC University Writing Center (UWC)! In this informal environment, graduate students will have the opportunity to discuss all things pertaining to graduate-level writing, including barriers and challenges, with peers and UWC graduate staff. Besides coffee, we will have crossword puzzles and color-by-numbers pages to provide some added stress relief as deadlines for final projects approach.
Afternoon Yoga

Presented by NIU Recreation. Relax and rejuvenate with a free one-hour yoga session exclusively for graduate students. This yoga class is designed to energize the body and mind. Dress comfortably, all levels are welcome. Yoga mats and equipment will be provided in studio. Reserve your spot to attend!
