This exhibit examined some of the many ways that human cultures from around the world have used astronomy and stellar events in the planning of their daily lives and religious practices.
The exhibition included detailed models of Stonehenge (England), Caracol (Mexico), and Medicine Circle (Wyoming). These models also included interactive explanations of the construction of each location, as well as the significance and use by the cultures.
There was also a section, entitled Farmers, that focused on the horizon calendar used at Walpi by the Hopi Indians. This section showed the progression of the sun throughout the year, and the activities the culture associated with each solar position.
